MEET NATHAN LENNIE
HEAD TRAINER
With over a decade in business and working K9 experience, Nathan brings a broad spectrum of skill sets to lead the Grassroots K9 Edmonton Team. A graduate of the Grassroots K9 Immersive Dog Training School, Nathan is rooted in service and training with purpose. His passion and excitement for working with dogs drive him and his team to strive for excellence every day.
Nathan is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), one of the few in Canada. He dedicates himself to continual learning and skill development, ensuring he has the tools necessary to help each dog in front of him. He has titled dogs in protection sport (PSA) and trained dogs with a wide variety of needs, challenges, and goals.
A graduate of the University of Windsor, Nathan is also a Level 5 Certified Coach in the sport of Athletics (Track & Field) and was the youngest in the sport's history to achieve professional certification. Representing Canada internationally as both a coach and an athlete (Hammer Throw), Nathan has honed his unique ability to work not only with dogs but also with owners and handlers.
A fan of all kinds of music, Nathan’s heart lies with country music. As a guitar player and self-declared campfire rock star, he enjoys unwinding with friends and family, singing, and sharing music.
Few are as keen and driven as Nathan to serve his community and contribute positively to the well-being of dogs and their owners.
